## Local Storage

## Page Access

When you explicitly click the "Auto-detect prices" button, the extension temporarily reads visible text on the active webpage to identify dollar amounts. This data is:

- Processed locally in your browser only
- Never stored
- Never transmitted

## Permissions Usage

The extension uses limited Chrome permissions to function correctly:

- activeTab: Allows access to the currently active webpage only when the user interacts with the extension
- scripting: Enables processing of visible page content when the auto-detect feature is used

These permissions are used strictly for functionality and do not allow background tracking or data collection.

## Third Party Services

This extension does not use any third party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
